Today i will research my topic and find 10 facts/behaviors that i would like to educate my peers about to prevent an inappropriate digital footprint in their future.
1. watch what you say, some people can misunderstand what you say.
2. negative comments can start something bad like an on line fight or you can get in big trouble.
3. Nothing is private in the internet. don't post any personal things on any social networking sites like facebook, twitter or myspace.

Thesis Statement-IA #2
Not everyone has a hero but the people that do look up to certain celebrities because of things they do or did or maybe care about now. Not all celebrities are selfish and stuck up. Usually celebrities do charity work, support cancer patients, or help the homeless. Some celebrities are really caring, helpful and very good hearted. Those are the kind of "hero's" people look up too or wish they can be.

Evaluate
RATINGS 1-6
INVESTIGATE
For investigate i rate myself a 3 because i didn't investigate much. I didn't really understand what to do till the end of the investigation stage.
DESIGN
For design i rate myself a 2 because i know i can do better when it coming to designing things. i rated myself a 6 because if i put more effort in it would be better.
PLAN
For plan i rate myself a 4 because i didn't plan much. i didn't take a lot of time to plan. if i took more time on the plan stage i would've done better.
CREATE
For create i would rate myself a 4 because i didn't finish. i forgot to save my first comic so i had to start over again. i don't want to finish because i want to go back and do a go animate, it would be pointless to finish something i'm not even going to use.
EVALUATE
For evaluate i rate myself a 5 because i'm being hones. i'm not lying about how i feel about my project.
ATTITUDES
For attitudes in technology i rate mysel 6 because i think my attitude is positive. i think i'm doing good when it comes to my attitude in technology.

UGHHH! I'M SO FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't like the comic strip anymore its so complicated. I'm thinking about doing Go Animate. I'm frustrated because i have to go back and start all over again, and i really don't want to, i worked so hard on what i have now. but i feel like the comic strip isn't going to help a 6th grader learn the design cycle. This makes my head hurt. Go animate makes this easier because its more understanding. i haven't even started my survey yet.

Design Specification
DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS
• Make it simple for a 6th grader to understand
• Teach a 6th grader the Design Cycle by using
• 6th Graders will be able to list the steps of the Design Cycle
• Must be 2 minutes or less
• About 5 pages long on Storybook
• Not that distracting from the point
• Made by Comic Master program online
• Possible to transfer onto a pen drive
• Be able to use while offline
• Possible to save and copy
• Must be able to be created in given time
• Simple to base off another project
• Can not be too difficult to break
Test
I will give them a survey that has 10 test questions about the design cycle.
I could test my product if it was successful or not by analyzing the students surveys. I will be successful if they are able to answer 7 out of the 10 corrections on their survey.

Design Brief
10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it.
For my project i decided to do a Comic strip/ Storybook that is going to describe to a sixth grade about the Design Cycle. It is very specific and understanding.

11. What are the requirements for this assignment?
11. What are the requirements for this assignment?
It must be simple to understand and under 2 minutes to explain.
12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment?
The limitation is the time because i only have 2 minutes to explain the Design Cycle,

13. How will you "test" your project?
i will test my project by giving out surveys about the design cycle to see if they really did learn something and if my comic strip really was understanding and simple.

Comic Strip
For the Theme I rated myself a 7. I rated myself a 7 because I think the theme I understanding. I feel like the theme deserved a 7 because it deserves no ness nut no more then 7 because i don't think its perfect. but I don't feel like it is bad.
Characters choice was rated a 5 because it deserves no more then a 5 but no ness them a 5. I love the fact that i'm using heros but i don't like the fact that it has villains. But the characters make the audience understand what the point of the comic strip.
The simplicity is rated a 4 because it deserves no more then a 4. it is some what simple but it may be a little confusing. It may seem confusing but you can somewhat understanding

Flipbook
For simplicity i rate myself a 2 out of 5. I give myself a 2 because my flipbook is somewhat kinda confusing. Its not so easy to understand. i think i understand it well because I'm the one creating it and its coming from my point of view. In other words I basically know whats going on.
For character choices i rate myself a 3 out of 5. I rated myself a 3 because its a little confusing. The characters i think are some what understanding.
For the theme I rated myself a 1 because i think the theme is a little difficult to understand. Its more simple to me because I created it but Im curious to know if its simple to other people.

Day 2: Investigation Reflection
I decided to create a book. I think seeing things in a picture or comic book is more helpful, so I went to Flipbook. With a flipbook you can draw and create many different things.
its creative but i feel a comic book is more accurate because its more understandable. I think a picture/ comic book is the best way to teach a sixth grader about the design cycle. With a comic book i found out that there are many different ways to make one. i learned that you can add captains and effects. there are many different back rounds you can choose from.

Area of Interaction: Community and Service , Approaches to Learning & Human Ingenuity
Significant Concept: Design Cycle can be used to solve problems
Unit Question: How can my learning help my community? How do I make Sound Choices?
INVESTIGATE: (Write in complete sentences) Identify the Problem
1. What is the problem you need to solve? Explain to a 6th grader what the design cycle is all about by creating a presentation. (3d, PPT, movie, game, Poster)
2. How does the Design Cycle apply to the real world?
3. How will this project serve my community?
4. How can my learning help my community?
5. How do we live in relation to each other?
6. How does this help others?
7. What are the requirements for this assignment?
8. What is the Design Cycle?
REFLECT on your learning.
Day 2
9. Spend one day experimenting with DESIGN CYCLE your presentation. List five things your learned about the Design Cycle:
Day 3
Design Brief
10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it.
Formulate a Design Specification
11. What are the requirements for this assignment?
12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment?
13. How will you "test" your presentation?
REFLECT ON YOUR LEARNING
PLAN:
14. Brainstorm ideas. Use the chart below
15. What idea did you choose to demonstrate the design cycle and why did you choose it?
16. Does your idea meet all of the requirements?
17. Use the story board paper below to plan your presentation. Include how many levels you will have, what will be on each level, how will you include teaching skills to young students, and what will your questions be about.
story board.pdf found in schoology under “materials” & then files.
18. Explain how you will use your time to get your project finished in 12 days:
REFLECT on your learning
EVALUATE:
20. How could you improve your presentation?
21. Does your presentation meet all of the requirements?
22. Share your presentation with at least 2-8th, 3-9th, 4-10th+ friends. What did he/she like about your presentation?
23. Reflect on all the steps of the Design Cycle. What did you do well? What do you need to improve?
24. Were you responsible in using the software, Internet, pictures, and computer?
25. How can my learning help my community?
26. What grade do you deserve on this project? (1 - 6)
ATTITUDE:
27. Reflect on your attitude on each step of the Design Cycle. Did you completely answer each step without complaining, being a whiny baby, or saying "it's too hard". Explain your answer:
28. What grade do you deserve on your attitude? (1 - 6)
